Like many popular MMOs, ESO supports the use of 3rd party addons utilizing their API to add features to the game, or compensate where some features may be lacking. I personally only use a few just to make life a bit easier but feel free to mention any others -

SkyShards - locate Skyshards easier on the map

LoreBooks - same as above, but for LoreBooks only

Minimap - game does not have minimap by default. This takes the worlds normal map and pops up a configurable minimap on your HUD. Works with other map addons like SkyShards and LoreBooks.

Quest Map - shows ALL quest markers on your map, not just the few you have picked up. Don't miss out on a quest :)

Wingy Auto Repair - automatically repairs your armor and items when visiting a merchant. It's a pain in the rear to forget to do this and then get stuck with ganked gear halfway through a quest.

To install an AddOn you drop them into the ESO folder under My Documents, i.e C:\Users\twizted\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns. Make sure each AddOn has it's own subfolder -

There's a couple good places I know of to check for up to date addons -

I'm gonna go ahead and add in "pChat" as well to customize chat more in-depth as well as making it easier to read.

I'm at work rn and have used all my "unlimited" data and am no being throttled to 128kbps, else I'd link it myself. <3

Linking pChat for Swagger, I gotcha bud.

Also something I recommend is in settings>nameplates>nameplates on. The game has a very minimalistic UI and if you don't turn the nameplates on it makes it very difficult to find vendors and other NPC's without talking to them if you don't already know who/where they are. I don't know why it isn't default.
